I know there are a few problems with recruiting right now, but Cody why don't you get in touch with some more of the old EWO guys?
After seeing Billy Ds post I figured he might come back and then maybe we can get a few more. Even though we were all probably some of the biggest egomaniacs we were all dedicated to the fed.
I'm gonna do my own little bit of recruiting and hopefully I should have a few names for you by next week.

Thanks I appreciate that. Just steer clear of Seth Dryden and Gabe Reno...

j/w, why did EWO close? AWE seems like EWO 2.0, lol... I just picked a better character to use this time around. ;D

hehe...AWE has a while to go before it can be considered any kind of follow up to ewo. i believe ewo was the best federation palmer/clark has ever run. AWE may in fact be fun, but ewo was classic.
cody - to make it simple...."if you build it, they will come"

Yeah I mean in my eyes EWO has been my fav fed for all of my 10years in e-fedding. But I think if we all focus on making AWE better then EWO it will be huge..
EWO shut down just basically because of some peoples Ego problems and just lack of interest from the roster, people like Dryden and Reno started bitching at each other and the rest of the roster and everyone just turned their backs besides a few people. Then when Clark/Epic/Palmer decided to leave and left it to someone they dropped the ball and it got shut down...
It was a big shame but like I said, AWE can be bigger then EWO ever was, but it will take time and support from everyone here...

Alright I'll clear it all up. I discussed this with Jarvo when recruiting him to return.
I have had four federations: FWL = Fatal Wrestling League X2W = Xtreme World Wrestling eWo = Epic Wrestling Organization AWE = Action Wrestling Entertainment
FWL I started because I hated the way things were being run in the fed I was in (XWL). I was ignorent and I knew nothing about how e-wrestling worked. FWL worked for a while and spawned stars like British Brawler, Bill Dynamite and Erin Jacobs (towards the end). And I closed it because I hated it.
X2W It opened the following summer with all the usual suspects aboard and we had a lot of fun but I closed it quickly due to involvement by my e-wrestling nemesis...Mike Flash.
eWo I opened eWo with my buddy Jesse (Dylan Dunn/Blake Price) and we had a great time. Jacobs, Dynamite, Jarvis, Carson, Thomas' and others made it great. But then the invasion from SFT/RWA stars happened and it all went down hill. We felt ousted because more than half the roster consisted of SFT/RWA alumni. And then Flash found out about eWo and pretty much sent Gabe Reno to own the fed.
Thus began the fight between eWo World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Dryden and Gabe Reno. It boiled to a point where it was pretty much us vs. Reno vs. Dryden and by that point my father was getting very sick, Jesse had lost interest and many of our best guys started leaving. (Jarvis, Carson and the Thomas').
Back To BWF/AWE So I decided to hand the company over to Erin Jacobs and even he couldn't keep it alive. So eWo died and I went back to where I had the most fun...I went back to BWF and joined up as NsM. I figured I could stay in e-wrestling just as a player until my dad got better.
I had success in BWF with Clark after myself and Dave collectively decided McKnight should get injured. I won the Happenstance Tournament and went to fight for the BWF Undisputed Title where myself and Danny had a draw.
Chris left BWF due to complications between him and Dave so we decided to open AWE in the event that BWF closed (most thought it was going to) but it didn't. So we kept going, recruiting people. I was trying to have a fed like FWL was, where it was simple roleplaying. None of this long boring shit that no one reads anyways, and that's what I want AWE to be.
And back in BWF the rematch was set for the next pay per view but in a tragic turn of events on Thursday May 19th, 2005 I returned home from school to find out that my dad had slipped into a coma. He passed away hours later and there was no way I could continue in BWF.
So I took a leave of absence from AWE and BWF forcing Chris to write the first show. I returned a week later, probably a bit to soon but I returned to AWE, and BWF shortly after. And here we are now.
I want AWE to be simple trash talk roleplays with minimal story so we can have great "arguing" on the roleplay boards and people can get into rping again. That's how roleplaying is meant to be and that's how I would like it. Right now that's how it is being done here and I couldn't be happier.
Thanks to everyone who is making AWE great so far and I know it will only get better.
That's wha' happened.

that story gets me everytime...
look cody, i guess i didnt really think of the gabe vs seth thing to be that huge...i sort of thought thats what you wanted?.. regardless, when i heard you had a new fed i was pretty stoked, because your feds are always so full of history and great storylines. when i came upon AWE, i am just going to tell you that i was flat out disappointed. its clear to see you are going for a very simple, basic, easy-going fed. but thats just not you. it wouldnt be the same if you didnt run a fed that had such ambition and you moved things along so quickly that everyone knew you were in way over your head, but that was part of its charm.
i didnt jump into this post to start trouble or to get you to close awe...i just wanted to say, "whats up codester" and "thanks for an invitation to your new fed....ass"

Just wait Conner, I've decided to step it up a notch because of the lack of interest. I figured you wouldn't want to come here because you barely had time for eWo...y'know what I mean?

At the moment, we can't seem to keep more then five active handlers at a time... if there were more, and they were consistant in their work-rate, perhaps the AWE could become something that interests you. But waiting for it to happen isn't going to help. Joining, being active, making the shit happen yourself; that's what's going to make it work. C

If even I know, once BWF does finally fold, that at least one person was happy and had fun with BWF, I'll know it wasn't a waste of time. I LOVE YOU MAN!!! ;D

Are you nuts? Look at the loyal rpers you have Dave. If your fed died this week it would be considered a complete success. Most feds die within three months of opening. Its pretty clear people have fun there and people appreciate what you do for them. I can say all this from just watching your fed for the last year.

I enjoyed my time in eWo and was sad it ended.I see this completely differently. Yes Mike Flash showed me the fed, but he never said oh go there to take over. We went there to compete. Seth Dryden and I pushed each other to write better and win the World title, it was competitive and behind the scenes we were actually friendly. Don't toss shit at me for winning matches I was put in because that's what I did.
I was very young and very passionate then. Sorry if I caused any issue for you Sabian. That experience really taught me a lot, and I am grateful for it.
